While winning at NMSU has been tough for the UTEP women, the win tonight was expected. NMSU has an RPI of 296 and UTEP's RPI will drop even though we won on the road. Right now SMU has an RPI of 68 and GT is 16. We also have a tough road game at Texas A&M who are at #93 right now. Realtime RPI projects the women to finish 26-2

MT crushed APSU today 69-43 to move to 5-3. Next game is Education Day against Kennesaw State. Raiders should pick up more votes this upcoming week.

ODU put it on UMass-Lowell 90-57 on Education Day in front of 8,086, which 5.5K were screaming kids. We started slow, got our PG back after knee surgery seemed a little rusty and rattled by the crowd & noise. Then finished strong.

Seriously, that no.23 is a phenom. She had half the points of your team. I wish she was wearing a UTEP uni. I think she scored 33 points, wow. I told my wife, "I'm starting to hate that girl". LOL I was kidding of course. She'll be a sure high draft pick for the wnba.

Now, as far as the Miners are concerned they were lucky to pull this game out of the bag. We can't make a point under the basket and our big center only jumps 2-3 inches. She was more a hindrance than an asset. If anyone other than no.23 on Smoos team had a hot hand you would have won, no question. I have a peeve against coach Keitha, why didn't she have a full court press at the end instead of just letting smoos players take it all the way to half court unopposed? Amazing.
