ECU-NCSU Game Week Thread
I'm wondering why we even play them? I mean, they are 3-7 and have nothing to play for at this point. Clearly, this game is their Super Bowl. They will have a psychological advantage, no matter what we do. The Pirates, meanwhile, are focused on making the C-USA title game and playing for C-USA championships.

Okay now that I got that out of the way, I see BC's running back ran for 339 yards vs the Pack today, and the Eagles ran for 420 yards as a team... I wonder how that will affect our game plan.

These type of games always worry me…I hate it when we play games where we have nothing to gain and everything to lose...03-shhhh

I suspect it will be a closer game than most people think…NC State will come out ready to play. They have some talent on that team and I expect their players to come out jacked up and ready to play. We will need to start fast next week and not let them get on a roll and get their fans into the game.

They'd probably have about 6 wins with our schedule. I don't take them lightly at all.

Might as well keep cheering for mediocrity, huh?

Are you saying UAB is mediocre? That would be a compliment.

I think we are over twenty guys with injuries currently. Really laughable.

I'm currently drunk so I might actually root for the Pirates once I sober up.

I'm pulling for ECU. We need all the help we can get in the BCS standings so you guys can't slip up before we beat you.

I've watched a few of their games and they've looked GREAT at times (vs La Tech, vs Clemson) and they've looked terrible at times (vs Richmond, end of the Duke game).

I agree that getting off to a fast start will be key.

Am I missing the sarcasm here? Because playing #3 Clemson and #2 FSU was a less important game than ECU??? Lol......

I think some of our fans may be upset next Saturday night….Some think we will roll into Raleigh beat them like a bad CUSA team. Well as bad as their current record is they are not CUSA bad. They would be probably be looking at winning season if they were in CUSA.

I would take it and be happy…But like I said, anything short of a blowout and we will have some fans bitching and moaning.

So... do we really need self admitted drunk mods on a ban rampage?
