A quick note from Dave Carducci's blog on stat that could lead to KSU closing out the season with a win in Athens.

"Ohio University is reeling a bit after losing 30-3 at Buffalo and 49-0 at Bowling Green in the last two weeks. The Bobcats are giving up a lot of points and some big yardage on the ground. Buffalo ran for 252 yards in its win. Bowling Green ran for 207.

Hopefully tonight's game and the success of Durham and Archer has the running game feeling its oats a bit heading into that Nov. 19 game in Athens."

Nothing will change the disappointment of this season for me, but finishing off the season with a win at OU would be a damn good start. Hate those arrogant asses. Second in my book only to that school a few minutes down the road from us.

Have we finally found the MAC team we can run against? Durham looked good until he got hurt. Dri can open this up. Meray just has to play within himself.

I also thought Durham ran strong, he hit the holes hard and didn't have that hesitancy he often shows until contact is made.

Quite a few guys have had seemingly regressed, but Goode and Boyle have really faded this season IMO, especially Boyle. Goode has been ok, but when you think back to how great he was 4 years ago as a Freshman you have to have thought he'd be putting up major numbers by this time. Luckily for the passing game we have Pierce and Humphrey stepping up.

I cannot for the life of me understand the no call on the late hit 5 yards out of bounds catch by Humphrey on the scoring drive. He got ridden to the turf.

Great play by Horning to get that ball off, but he should have caught the ball even though it was slightly high but not over his head. I know, I know, the ball gets slippery when it gets cold out but don't you practice in cold weather?
