Louisville just added a fifth signee to the class of 2014. 7'2" Norwegian Matz Stockman. This came completely out of left field. Apparently he is agile enough to play the 4 and the 5. Cardinal Authority's Jody Demling completely scooped everyone on this. Kudos to the CA staff.

Good to have kids you can develop over time (assuming he is somewhat a project). 4 and 5 year players are important to blend with the Freshmen Studs.

We will know more about the kid after this weekend. His team is traveling to Connecticut to play in some event there. Scout.com's Evan Daniels will be in attendance as will Rick Pitino. Rick has yet to see the kid play in person, only on film. Coach P said he was told if he played in the states he would probably be listed as a top 3 center for the class.

I truly believe that getting this recruit is a result of moving to the ACC.

We need a pinned thread for basketball recruiting so that we don't get a separate thread every time someone commits.

I disagree. Those sorts of threads get massive over time. It then begins to get daunting to sort through and find things. I hate those all encompassing massive threads that I see on forums.

It's tricky because on the one hand I like large pinned threads about things like recruiting so that they stay at the top of the board. On the other hand, they're an issue because as a forum scanner/participant it's hard to find what you're looking for. Then you get repeated information every 10 pages or you get 10 different topics within one thread.

I think my preference is to have separate threads.

Another thought is that you can start a Louisville Basketball Recruiting thread and then try to keep all the discussion about Louisville specific discussion there. I've seen that be successful on other forums that I read frequently.
