I like the better start offensively, but in that quarter, we ended the last four and half minutes with 2 points. Last fg was with 5:50 left in the first quarter.

I'll take 24 points for an opening quarter on the road. Hope they can keep it up.

Zbo with 10 points and 5 boards in the first quarter.

Well at least we're not digging out of a hole, yet. Grizz up 24-17 after 1st.

16 points and on pace for 80 points. Went 3:30 without scoring to end the 2nd quarter.

80 is just not enough points in the nba against any team.

Grizz went 2:55 without a shot made from the field to end that quarter. Scored on 4 free throws.

RE: Grizzlies @ Lakers (11/15)
Lakers have been giving up 106 points per game which is 27th overall in the nba. Grizz manage to get 89. Zbo's big 14 points in the 4th quarter saved the grizz azz tonight.

The good news besides a road win is the grizz held the lakers to 13 points under their average. Also, grizz outrebound lakers who are #3 in team rebounding.

I'll take the win, but with scoring like this, every game will be a struggle.

ZBO and his 28 & 11 game got us the W tonight for sure. Tough win in spite of Lakers hitting 10 3's to our 1. The fact we were 14-14 from the ft line sure made a difference tonight also. Only 9 turnovers was great. We did a lot well tonight but the margin for victory was slim. On to Sacramento.....

Fell asleep. Glad we won that one. Winning on the road in the NBA is hard, so I'll take it.

RE: Grizzlies @ Lakers (11/15)
Help me figure this out.
Mike Miller who is a defensive liability and was 2-8 plays 26 minutes.
Tayshaun Prince who is an offensive liability plays 28 minutes and shoots 3-9.
Tony Allen who is one of the best defenders in the NBA and was 6-6 plays 22 minutes.
Quincy Pondexter who is pretty good on both sides of the ball plays 20 minutes.

I am glad we won for sure. With Nash and Bryant missing that LA team is pretty terrible.

Qpon is back. Franklin wasn't one of the first off the bench this time. No leuer. No calathes. And no ed davis. Remember how hollins and the FO had mixed opinions of who should play and who shouldn't?

Definitely a change from the toronto game.

It was the black mask for Q that made the difference.

Funny that one of the things that got Hollins canned was not playing Ed Davis.

Really? What little I know of the Grizzlies indicates that Davis sucks; I saw him in the game I attended I wondered why he was on the team, he looked lost.

But last night I had the game on as I worked late on a power point, volume down, and have to say they looked like an entirely different team. Kudos to Joerger for getting them back to normal, let's hope for the Grizz fan's sake he can keep it up.

One of the more impressive protective masks in the league. I wonder if the NBA would let Pondexter paint flames on it like Bam Bam Bigelow had on his head.
