RE: UTEP 68 v. NMSU 77 Final
A scorer, a scorer, a scorer for my kingdom. We need someone other than Washburn to score. Everyone but Cooper is afraid of shooting the basket from the 3 point line. I saw so many chances 4 feet from the basket but they were adamant on taking under the basket and then losing it. It's going to be a long season just like football was. Alas...

If...we don't improve, there's no way we win the tourney. Even in El Paso.

RE: UTEP 68 v. NMSU 77 Final
Observances:

- No dribble penetration
- No point guard running the show
- Too much dribbling around the 3-point line, and ball taken away
- Passing with the back to the defender while spinning, caused 2-3 turnovers
- overpassing
- guards afraid to take shots
- seems like there is no true center, only power forwards

Most of this can be fixed. But the lack of a point guard has to be addressed. Maybe Moore is hurt? We need him, because we are out of sync.

Just read Moore is out indefinitely, due to a concussion.

Must've been a bad one.

Floyd said the backcourt was going to be an issue this year.

YUP he did... It would have been a good back court had Isaac honored his word.

BTW, did you hear about what his brother is pulling at Uconn? It'll be nice when usc gets hit with probation again. What's ironic, this time it will be because of something Floyd did

UCONN allowing that is setting a bad precedent.

This is why I wish Isaac Hamilton chose to stay and play. Could've really used him.
