What is this tjtlja guy's deal on YOGWF? I was lurking to see if there was anything on Freddie Booth-Lloyd, who Temple just offered and is taking an official here. I know that every fanbase has someone who is a little off and thinks they're better than they are, but is he serious in thinking Tulane has any chance of landing Fournette, Willis, Dupre or Noil?

The very notion seems to offend you. They do live in New Orleans, after all. Oh we won't get those players, but pardon a bit of dreaming considering that Fournette hangs out at Tulane all the time and practically all summer. Dupre is there quite a bit as well.
You probably have bought into this notion that all of NOLA just loves LSU football. The Times Picayune does, that's for sure. But NOLA is nothing close to LSU die-hard, particularly the black community. Never have been. NOLA players go there because it's close and they're good.
When we get better, we'll start to a couple of the recruits they want in NOLA. We will. Not many, but a couple, just like we did when we were more competitive. Johnson's signed a 4 star player (depending on the service you used) from NOLA each of his first 2 years, recruiting off of 2 win seasons.

It doesn't offend me at all, it just comes off delusional. I never said or thought anything about LSU. It's not only LSU. These aren't some low 4 star recruits with only a few really good offers, these are blue chip, national recruits.

Sure they are. SMU just signed one in basketball.
They are national recruits who spend a lot of time at Tulane and live nearby. Dreaming in this case, not delusional. Delusional would be if they played in, say, Houston or Los Angeles.

SMU has a Basketball Hall of Fame coach, so it's not very surprising. It doesn't matter that they spend a lot of time at Tulane. That's happened to Temple so many times, including the brother of our starting PF last year. He still went to Arizona despite going to every Temple home game for years. It's also delusional because they're not considering Tulane.

Sure. And SMU finished 2nd to last in C-USA and hasn't make the NCAAs since well before we last made it, which was 18 years ago. That was quite a signing.
Heck, we signed 2 top 10 national recruits in basketball (and several top 100) in the 1990s without a hall of fame coach.
You gotta try for top players, even if it's unlikely.
And if we have a delusional fan, the question I'd ask is...only 1?

The minute you stop trying to land a recruit = the minute you don't land the recruit.

You are exactly that fan you just described. "I know that every fanbase has someone who is a little off and thinks they're better than they are."--you are that guy. You are also a US Soldier hater. You have no shame.
