I'm thinking that this is probably the game of the week... or is that the pillow fight of the week? I get those confused.

Anyway, it's time for both fan bases to start making excuses for possibly losing this game.

UTEP excuses.....

1. we are not any good
2. missing our starting qb
3. missing our starting rb
4. missing best o-lineman
5. we have no defense
6. we thought we were supposed to field a soccer team

FIU excuses....

1. we are not any good
2. our starting qb isn't any good
3. we are missing our best corner and safety
4. we have no returning starters on the o-line

Go Miners!

I pick the Miners to win. Season's been a letdown, to say the least, but, I think they'll play hard enough to secure the victory. I know the term, "playing for pride" has been all but used up these days, but at this point in the season for teams that may feel they have nothing to play for, some of them gather enough internally to try and finish strong and reload for next season.

I think UTEP will stand and deliver in this regard.
