I do enjoy having depth but Kareem is putting up the exact same type of numbers as Flu. Their averages are identical. As long as Kareem doesn't go down, we can beat NIU without Flu. But I am with you and would like him healthy and ready to go.

Yeah, fifty five percent passing and frequent throws into the third row is exciting for all of us. Nice try, MD- he's thrown downfield OK for some big gains but between the drops and bad throws our passing game is a shadow of past years. Fortunately we have six RBs cuz we're down to using number five and six on the depth chart for about fifteen carries a game. Our D just gave up 41 points. In a HALF! If NIU doesn't win by six TDs they should drop football altogether like they have basketball.

A little, but he has not been the QB he was in other years. Looked very sharp against Buffalo for the most part but completion percentage is down and still throws the high ones.

Someone write a letter to the Blade stirring the fan base, I would but Im not so eloquent.

I disagree. You'll need no turnovers and good tackling on Lynch. BSU would have beaten them if they make those two tackles on Lynch where they let him go and make plays.

NIU gives up lots of points.

Well yes, true. And Hunt has been putting up identical numbers as Flu. But what if we have Flu back and healthy and Kareem and DJM? Now that is an even more powerful force to try and stop.

The fact we played Navy will help in the preparation for NIU. Lynch is better and more versatile than the Navy QB but we hopefully learned how to contain an offense with a running QB who likes to pitch out at the last second. NIU thrives on defenses that put too much pressure on the QB. Lynch's quickness allows him to weasel out of the hands of would be aggressive tacklers.

I hope the coaches aren't looking past niu towards akron... they, need to concentrate on the game at hand

This is the first time I've seen the full outside of the training facility. I saw the inside a bit on the ESPNU special during halftime of our game. Looks nice.

UT will run the ball on NIU. If FLU is healthy we win, we can eat clock up and score alot. They will not stop our offense. Lynch is a problem... we need to contain him to 100 yds on ground... let the others try to beat us. UT 45 NIU 38. The Vegas line will be interesting.
