Meanwhile in Kent, Miami has a 3-0 lead, I believe it's the third we've held all year. Correct me if I'm wrong Redhawk fans (first half against Marshall, first half against CMU, this).

Enjoying the NIU-BSU game....a real shoot out and a nice (and loud) crowd on a chilly (just over 32 degrees) night in DeKalb. Kent up 14-6 over Miami at halftime in the game that doesn't matter.

when MACtion is good MACtion no other G5 conf has anything that comes close.

What's with the pink helmets for Miami?

On most MACtion Wednesday games, there is no atmosphere at all with mostly empty stadiums....nice to see the NIU faithful out in force this Monday night.....makes a big difference in showcasing the league.

Sorry Miami, still can't get into your Jackson Pollack helmets. Love the traditional M you had much more.

Not sure they could be any uglier than our regular ones.

Aside from the U of Maryland, those outfits/helmets your team is wearing this year are the ugliest I have seen, anywhere...

I don't like them either, especially the helmets (which are supposed to resemble 'feathers' or something like that). I definitely prefer the ones from last year and I wish we could've just stuck with simple, classic unis like KSU did with their new Nikes. That being said, I don't think the jerseys themselves are that bad, though I'm not a fan of the 'Miami' on the shoulders.

Either way, our getup is the least of our problems this year. We could wear pink and brown and I wouldn't care if we could put a winning team out on the field again.

Just checked out ESPN's bottom 10 rankings…and guess what…there's only 1 MAC team in it!! Woo! I always remember seeing at least 2, 3 and even 4 at times.

The were metallic red and grey. All kinds of little marks all over them. Kind of symbolic of a shattered season
