I especially liked the comment Pitino made at halftime. "This feels like a February conference game"

I see that Russ Smith had an assist... but UL lost. Forget that mess, no more passing for Russ this year!!!

I caught that too...loved it.

After the first 10 mins I thought Louisville would win by 15...boy was I wrong. Looks like UNC will vault up to the Top 15 this week.

Can't wait...pretty much done playing in the Playpin known as the AAC Board....Great win UNC, playing you gave the Coaches, Players and even the fans our weaknesses to get better for those 3 Weeks in March/April.

I give you credit for still going over there. I don't touch it with a 40 foot pole now.

Still can't believe we lost?! Kennedy Meeks is a likable player though. Congrats, Tar Heels. You played a great game and deserved to win. Hopefully we learn from this and bounce back. Still think we are a Final Four squad.

UNC may be unbelievably good when when they get all of their players back.

Yes indeed. With PJ out, Paige is getting a chance to see what he can do when he is aggressive. Paired with other shooters on the floor and their depth inside, the can be a tough out come March. If they get those guys back. That is not certain at this point.

Year is young Pitino has to get his young players and returning players playing as one unit it takes time. His teams are always ready in March.

I wonder hwo much the new rules will affect Louisville...UL was notorious for hand checking.

It is a trade off...it also means Russ Smith can't be hand checked either.

Not for all teams...I think it'll hurt some teams more than others. I think it favors Zone teams...but right now that is not based on fact. We'll see how it plays out. I think the whistles will calm down at the start of conference season. Some games have been unwatchable and TV doesn't like games going much over 2 hours.

Congrats to UNC. The Tar Heels dominated inside and consistently beat UofL down the court for lay-ups to my frustration. No excuses for Louisville, the Cards simply need to get better as the season progresses.

Louisville's defense, if you could even call it that, was deplorable.
