RE: Florida pre-game thread
Their perimeter defense has not been pretty awful so far. Opponents are shooting 40.9% against them. Sounds like a logical game plan to me. They, on the other hand, his only 29.2%, so their perimeter shooting game has been pretty bad so far. Let's hope Isom has a career game. (Considering that his career will have been two games, that isn't saying much necessarily, but let's hope he has one anyway.)

Vegas line is 20 points. Sure hope we beat that. Sagarin has Florida by 23.

I know you guys won't like it, but expect us to take the air out of the ball. Wisconsin did that (they always do) and won. I don't figure we have the horses to run in this race.

Pappy to take the air out the ball we have to have some dominant big man. We don't. If we go with that strategy we will get killed. Expect florida to pressure he ball and speed up the game.

RE: Florida pre-game thread
This is where we really get to see how our perimeter players, point and two guard specifically, can hold up under pressure. It's the steals out front that result in easy baskets that kill you against teams like Florida. If JT, Josh and D'Vonte can prevent that from happening, we can make a decent showing. Another area they kill you is when you try and force the ball inside, they make the steal, and fast break for an easy basket. We have to protect the ball, make outside shots, and prevent second chance points. Those are the keys, maybe not to winning, because I think that's an unreasonable expectation, but to make a good showing.

RE: Florida pre-game thread
Sure Florida wants to speed up the game, because their guards are several notches better than ours, presumably.
