Most thought they'd wait until the new president was hired. I think he held on a few years longer than he should have already.

It's been a great run... hope VT gets a good, young, ambitious replacement (someone like Tom Jurich)

True but in this case it might not be a bad choice to hire in house. I hate doing that for a coach but a director might not be so bad. I just hope she doesn't have some of the same salary proclivities for Football and Men's basketball that Jim Weaver had. Frank Beamer isn't even one of the 30 highest paid head coaches any more.
