unfortunately, we will be seeing more of yaz on the field/court....but more unfortunately, on this board....

Praying for our student athletes, that it's not this weekend. Granted, none of USM's football players deserve to have gone through what they've had to deal with either. I thought that this was going to be the year where USM gets back on track to where they used to be. Thankfully for the Eagles, they've improved just about every week as they're now entering an easier part of their schedule.

Up in Ruston this week, someone eloquently mentioned on a radio show that if this streak continues long, USM will have no players on the team who really understand what a winning season feels like. It's huge not to have that kind of experience on your team. As Tech fans figured out, sometimes a winning attitude is all thats missing.

Looks like it will have to be next year sometime. I don't think the USM team as currently constructed can beat anyone.
