Favorite: None ... but if I had to pick it would be Temple because my brother-in-law is a Temple grad and he's a good guy.

Least favorite: Rutgers, because they got the Big 10 invitation even though UConn has better academics & athletics (let's overlook the 2013 FB season). Rutgers just has TV's.

Don't worry once ECU gets here we'll be on the most hated list of more people.

Favorite/Least Favorite AAC team
Favorite: Tulane, because I almost went to school there. Also enjoyed my trip to UCF a few years ago, and Cincinnati seems to have cool fans, good programs, and an awesome football stadium as well.

Least favorite: probably Houston. Although most of their posters on here are great, I have had my worst visiting fan experience at old Robertson Stadium. Some Memphis basketball posters on here, however, have me questioning whether I should dislike Memphis more than Houston.

Favorite? Well, looking forward to playing UCF and Cincinnati again in football and having national brands in basketball on the schedule, but if I had to choose one... Hmmm.

In hindsight you should probably thank them.

Guys like TripleA and oldtiger will hopefully balance out the trolls.

I'd say I like UC and ECU. I like the scrappiness of the programs and their tradition.

I definitely dislike USF, for so many reasons, a lot of them have already been posted.

Favorite: Tulsa - They've done more with less than just about any program in America. I also like ECU because I am friends with many alums, although the hubris of the casual ECU fan sometimes escapes me. Also respect Uconn and Cincy for their sustained BB success.

Least: Houston. We both face many of the same obstacles (program located in a region dominated by B12/SEC), but history and proximity make this an easy one. It's hard to root against other AAC teams because I feel like we are all in this together against the monopoly of the P5.

Love my Tigers but also really like the direction of UCF

Being older I have an automatic dislike for Louisville and Cincy. That said, I very much respect what they have done with their programs.

Favorite: ECU - While I was at UCF from 2006-2011 I always felt ECU was the biggest game of the year. Never met an obnoxious fan at the games either.

Least Favorite: USF - First of all their fans were awful at the games, and growing up in Miami at Canes vs FSU/UF games etc I've seen my share of unruly fans. Then they go and ***** out of the rivalry. Plus Tampa/St. Pete is the worst city I've ever visited.

This thread needs a poll option. USF looks like the runaway "least favorite".

Yes.

I don't like Houston, but when they play a P5 school I root for them as loud as I can. I'd wear a Houston baseball cap during the game ... if I had one. That bowl game against Penn State was beautiful.

RE: Favorite/Least Favorite AAC team
I really enjoyed the Memphis fans I met in Auburn Hills last year. Sure there were some ridiculous homers seeing games through blue tinted shades, but a lot of fans are knowledgeable and really just LOVE their teams. I'd say Memphis is my second favorite (even though their considered a rival I guess).

Least favorite has to be USF. Fans were terrible when we went to Tampa, to the point where we felt physically threatened (that's only ever happened with West Virginia before that, so congrats on the company), their teams play dirty and just aren't really that good.

least: Looserville, Rutgers (because they are leaving)

most: SMU (because they are in Texas) I am very cognizant of geography when choosing who to like/dislike.

This is why we despise UConn. From The Boneyard:

"Temple is surrounded by a ghetto that requires heavy policing. Al Golden recruited mainly inner city kids so they don’t suffer a culture shock. Sounds as backward as it can get."

I've been to Storrs, CT, so I know about backward. During my tour of UConn, our tour guide told us that students walk several miles to the bowling alley during the weekend. My mom wouldn't let me go to UConn because she said I'd end up an alcoholic.

Golden recruited plenty of inner city kids, because inner city kids play football, but saying he recruited mainly inner city kids so they dont have a culture shock is hilariously false. His recruiting classes included kids from suburban Baltimore/DC (MD/VA), Philly (PA and South Jersey), Atlanta, NYC (North Jersey, CT, and NYS), and Eastern PA. Not to mention Temple and UConn recruit many of the same players and schools. Temple has tons of students from suburban areas including myself. The ghetto stuff is hilarious. Everyone feels completely safe at Temple.
