UTSA QB Eric Soza has been named a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy. Another honor in a long list of honors.

Evidently a fine young man...Good to have role models like him at the helm. I expect LC has been instrumental in his growth as both a player and person.

Soza and Tripplet (Army) are the only non-P5 finalists. Hopefully mid majors can get some love

Yep he was a bum in the pros but he was a hellava QB at FL.

Absolutely. I hated his guts at Florida when I used to root for the Seminoles, but the man was a gunslinger and he owned Florida State.

Wish he'd had a more successful NFL career, I was actually rooting for him when he went to New Orleans. Glad that he's been honored with a trophy in his name.
