Yes, we lost a number of close games last year too.

I guess if this year is going to be a mild success we are going to need to win the close one's because all three games have been close and we lost to UNO in the last 30 seconds despite being ahead most of the game.

KSU wins 75-58. WMU up 3 with a couple of minutes left. Ohio has kept its lead between 6 and 12 most of the 2nd half on Valpo.

Ohio survives to win by 4. Fouled way too much and missed way too many at the line.

Good way to put it. We had a 20 point lead at one point. Then A & M went to a small, quicker lineup and started bombing away. Cut the lead to 1 at one point but the Broncos survived. Too close for my tastes but Hawk was giving lots of minutes early to our subs. Not so much down the stretch.

Loss for NIU is imminent. We played close the entire game until the last 2 mins but we had far too many turnovers (17) and kept trading baskets back and forth. 17-for-28 at the FT line is not good either.

Yep, today was another bad FT day for NIU, until they can improve from the line they wont win many games. The team is better but won't win a lot shooting FTs like they have 3 of the 4 games.
