Exclamation Has your team had injuries that have actually positively affected your team?
Injuries are perhaps the most dreaded part of the game but sometimes injuries can actually be a blessing in disguise.

Take ECU for example, 7 out of the top 8 or 9 WRs on our depth chart coming into the season are now gone due to injury or suspension (Justin Jones, Jabril Solomon, Danny Webster, Jimmy Williams, Zico Pasut, Quataye Smyre and Davon Grayson). I've actually never seen anything like this. However, ECU still seems to be thriving in the passing game with numerous freshman stepping up, as indicated by the team averaging nearly 400 yards passing per game over the last 6 contests, including 383 against Tulsa on Saturday.

With the production actually going up and with all the experience this provides to the team moving forward, I feel like this has somehow been a great benefit to the program.

I stubbed my left pinky toe while watching the UCF/Louisville game. We were down 28-7 when the injury occurred and we came back and won.

Munchie Legacy going down...everyone in the Greater Cincinnati area knows that Brendan Kay is the much better QB.

No disrespect to David Piland, but UH clearly upgraded the QB position when he went down with concussions.

Russ Smith and Chris Smith (starter on 2012 Final Four team) only got a lot of playing time, after being buried deep on the bench, because of injuries in 2010-11. Russ only became a starter because of injuries last year (he was to be the sixth man).

Football wise, Teddy Bridgewater became starter due to injury. It was going to happen anyway, but he was not ready at the time and thrust into the role right then. Our leading receiver this year, Damian Copeland, became the go to guy after injury to our returning leading receiver Michaelee Harris.

This is one of the most inspirational stories of overcoming adversity I've ever heard.

While he certainly would have helped in the Final Four, I'd say Louisville greatly benefited from rallying around Kevin Ware.
