May God's peace be with your family, Dynamos.

Denver, you are taking the Good Walk with your father. Bless you, and may God give you, and your father, strength on this journey. I will keep your family in my prayers.

F cancer!!

Thanks guys. Much love around here. Many people are being treated for cancer or someone they know is. I'm not a health guru and don't intend to be some know it all but man things need to change in this world sooner than later.

Here's to hoping future generations get a leg up on cancer.

And to the OP, I didn't intend to hijack your thread. Nobody is greater than any other person. Hoping your wife and family get through this as best as you can. My mother battled breast cancer when I was in middle school, double mastectomy. She was lucky to survive and to this day we are supporters and donators to the Race.

This is my fathers second go with the chemo. Over the summer he did 30 days of radiation and 24 days of chemo over a 6 week period. It was initially just lung cancer, but after treatment it was revealed that it had spread to his hip.

That was in Denver, we recently relocated to louisville(too much red here), which has a great cancer facility. Now that we are here he is beginning a 12 week session of chemo one day a week. I think it will be much easier on him, I can only hope so. He also is not getting radiation at this time so there has to be a little bit of solace in that.

All I can say is life is good, go tell your family you love them and enjoy the time we are given.
