Should the MAC do an intervention on EMU?
Does the MAC have a duty to ensure that its membership is functional, sportsmen like and competitive? The situation at Eastern Michigan sounds like it calls for an intervention from the MAC office.
Should Jon Steinbrecher step in an hire the next EMU coach and require certain minimums to be met by the school? How about a probationary period to improve performance before dismissal?
EMU hired a new AD on July 1st by the name of Heather Lyke. What are her thoughts on continuing football at the FBS level? Is she willing to consider an FCS study citing the advantages of hosting playoff games in Rynearson Stadium and greater crowds with success?
Quote:Eastern Michigan University has been a member of the Mid-American Conference since 1971 and has been among the leagueʼs most successful members. The Division I program boasts 120 MAC team championships over the past 42 years. EMUʼs varsity intercollegiate program features 21 different sports, nine men's teams and 12 women's teams, The program employs more than 70 full-time staff and supports more than 500 student-athletes. Eastern Michigan has had a representative at every summer Olympics since 1960.

Cookie dough is good, but I like the fudge brownie mix in better. I'm all about chocolate.

I'm thinking of starting a dark chocolate exchange. But if you already have some dark chocolate you can keep what you have.

For ice cream I actually like plain vanilla the best. Cold, smooth and creamy vanilla ice cream.

Look, tastes vary, and, indeed, I like variety, but if it is one after a long time without ice cream, definitely mint chocolate chip.
I will, however, happily be flexible on dark chocolate chips versus milk chocolate chips ~ they each have their own appeal, but both go well as the chocolate chips in mint chocolate chip ice cream.

If forced to choose between either butter pecan or cookies n cream or no ice cream at all, I'd quickly take either.
As far as the move to kick out EMU from fans that quite obviously want their schools to ave a better crack of winning track, baseball, women's BBall, men's golf, and men's swimming & diving championships ...
... well, like I said, I like variety.
