If we end up playing in a bowl or not its still something to say we are bowl eligible for the 3rd straight season! Not bad after going 0 and 26 which seems like ages ago now! I AM NOT COMPLAINING!!!

You must be negative chad Bishop in disguise..Not saying we will play in a bowl but if we get 8 wins we have a good shot at pizza bowl in Detroit or beef o bradys bowl in Florida...Now winning our last 2 is not going to be easy but I feel good that at least one game being on the road, I just wish the Ark. St. game was at Ark. St. so we could have a chance to win...

Agreed there.... Stewart is our ace in the hole. Sadly, my gut tells me there are already 4 aces showing on the table. Any open Bowl slots will be miraculously filled by some P5 team sitting at 5-6 who beats some 8-3 team to become Bowl eligible the last week of the season. Funny how that happens.

We all know bowls are a lot of politics too, so keep in mind that CUSA could maybe help out a future member to with a certain bowl in Florida...

Yea I kind of agree...If we make a bowl at 7 and 5 than we had to have about 15 different scenarios leaving only 73 or so bowl elig. teams...In another words would have to have a lot of teams not get bowl elig....

a lot of us didn't think we had it in us either.

i coined a phrase a long time ago on our home board and it has caught on.

it's called: 'pulling a western'

in essence it's when you have a chance to do something good/big you do just the opposite. on andrews winning td i expected petrino to call some cute doughty rollout.

where he promptly throws a 99 yard pick six.

and we've been doing it as long as i've followed western. it's not a petrino thing. it's a western thing.

Frankly, I'd rather sit home.

Last year's bowl game was humiliating and one this year would be even worse.

This WKU team doesn't deserve a bowl.

I disagree. If your team is bowl eligible, you DESERVE a bowl. Now, do we deserve a conference or national championship? Of course not. FBS is about 1) get to six wins 2) win the conference 3) win a national championship. Now, of course G5 schools will always be on the outside looking in on number 3. WKU has met Goal 1. We deserve a bowl like anyone else who gets to six wins. Will we get one? I think you all know what I think. Nope.

A winning season deserves a bowl game. Bowl Games are intended to be rewards for accomplishment. A .500 season is hardly an accomplishment.
