USA Today Coaches' Poll - 11/10/13
Louisiana picks up a couple more points in the latest poll. Cajuns now with 7 points. Still a good way to go to crack the Top 25.

No votes in AP poll.

Im predicting, if Louisiana wins against Georgia St, and ULM, they will be ranked top 25 heading into the USA game!

I agree on GSU and Louisiana-Monroe, but I don't think a top 25 ranking comes even after running the table.

The Cajuns appear to be the best football team in the Belt this year. Top 25? Don't think so. Perhaps next year if they can start off with some decent OOC wins and then pile up a good string of wins. Who do the Cajuns play next year btw?

Southern and Louisiana Tech at home, Ole Miss and Boise State on the road.

It always helps if the teams above you are losing. I want you guys to get that ranking, I want that first win against a top 25 team at the end of the season. 05-mafia

Good luck guys.

Not with bad losses to Ark and KSt. I'm pulling for you though. The SBC definitely needs the no top 25 team monkey off our back.

Top 25 teams don't lose to Arkansas . . . just sayin'

You're right, they don't. But how a team finishes the season is much more important than how they started it. I'm not lobbying for Top 25 for the Cajuns, I've already said I didn't think they deserve it. What I believe they've got going against them more than the loss to Arkansas is the quality of the opponents they've faced during this win streak.

If you guys were destroying everyone, you would probably get it, but "just" winning doesn't get many bonus points. Just the way the system works.

I wish you guys could play Arkansas this weekend instead of having played them the first game of the season.

^this^

Which is why I say the Cajuns are probably the best football team in the Belt.....they're finding a way to win games that look lost....the mark of a well-coached team, but not a dominating team....or a Top 25 team. Next year's squad might make it if the wheels don't come off for some reason.

Possible job openings in the SEC....Florida(cause they suck), A&M(Sumlin could be in the running for USC), that could be the only two open.

I hope UL gets table but I just don't see it unless a lot of teams in front lose and they win out. Just too many votes to overcome. Adding two a week won't get ya there. But parley that's into next season and I think it happens.

The staff paniced and got away from the run too early. It was over as soon as we did that. Kansas St will likely be bowling so that isn't that bad of a loss.
