From the article, it really will be interesting to see how everything plays out between NIU and Fresno. Essentially, NIU has MUCH better competition coming up on the schedule relative to Fresno. I can see NIU jumping them in the rankings if both win out. This is especially true since NIU has both the BSU, Toledo, and then the championship game on ESPN2, the exposure will help them in the polls tremendously.

I'm glad you made this point. This poster has been going around dropping this misleading info on multiple boards. The AAC is a better league and that will be official in the rankings beginning next season. Not in including them in a G5 ranking is slander.

Disagree. The AAC is clearly superior to the MAC.

And unless we take action, we will 100% be perceived as weaker nationally.

Winning alone is too slow of a path to improve how the nation views the MAC. Dead weight must be dropped.
