speaking of CPC here is a wild scenario for a distant game yet to be played:

What if like what has happened elsewhere this year and in past when the conditions outdoors were such that a game had to be delayed, halted or called off --- say thunderstorms and lightning for hrs....could teams agree to finish a game inside CPF without fans.....

I dozed and faded in and out last nite during blowout game but do not recall seeing any panorama of stands on opposite side of students and I have been to BSU....

With how sales are going right now and no marketing campaign for NIU to sell the game, Id take 17k in an instant. That would be very optimistic. The 1st half attendance is more crucial though because we will only have a large national audience for a quarter or two before people get bored.

If the game unfolds like many anticipate it's not quite so easy to leave stadium or turn off TV if lead see/saws and the final score is 63-60 and comes down to who has the ball final seconds.
