EMU v Albion
Who's going? i'll be there and i couldn't be more excited for the season to start.

i'll be looking to see:
- if we actually have a coherent offensive plan this year (we don't have to run every time, but i'm desperate for any semblance of structure on the offensive end)
- who will score points
- how Murphy uses the newcomers (particularly Ayayi's playing time and where Ward sets up on offense)
- was i wrong about Harrison last year? (i saw him as someone who would be a solid 6th or 7th man on a MAC championship team, not a top 25 MAC player)

Why is EMU playing three non-D1 schools in the regular season?(Albion, Rochester, and Concordia)

I was thinking the same thing. These games are utterly useless. We could win the MAC and be a 13 or 14 tournament seed because of these type of games.

It really is embarrassing. Even Boone did not fattened up as much on these type of teams. I understand wanting to balance out the schedule, but jeebus you’d think they could find better team than these.

When was the last time a team won the MAC and was rated much better than 13 or 14 though... And 12 isn't much better...

Plus, with games against Duke, Syracuse, Kentucky, and Purdue it all balances out. Let's not forget that U Mass and Robert Morris aren't push overs either...

RE: EMU v Albion
All we need to look for is cohesion with the lineups, and trying to shake down what kind of rotation we will have.

Also, you should look to how Lee plays as well as the play of our backup bigs and how they can contribute to the season.

To me, anything less than a division title and a solid run in the tournament is a letdown.

Hope Hoopster is there too and saying 'Wow, I feel like I have a thousand grand kids today..." 03-lmfao

I'm psyched too.

As 'Nickle has posted, this game has a great atmosphere as the kids think that beating Albion is a little like beating Duke in 1996 NCAAs. 03-lmfao

Or maybe it will be like watching SportsCenter without editing out the non-highlight plays.

Will GB III be a human highlight show?

these early easy games are meaningless in there ability to judge talent but it is nice to play other people than your own team mates.

I guess it's audio only :-(

Interesting starting lineup:

Talley
Lee
Ward
Harrison
Riley

I like that a lot actually, even though I'd start Bryant over Daylen. Don't know why he's bringing Glenn off the bench again.

Yep.

BTW, Chad says Murphy says we have 11 starters on this team.

Deep, deep, deep.

BTW, Hoopster is at the game and will have his expert analysis after the game, I'm sure.

Energy?

Lee is on fire.

Will he be the surprise of the season????
