mention there was trouble in Memphis, but I never did hear what he was talking about, said it was coming up later but I missed it.

Anyone hear that or know what's up?

yea, they just got curbstomped by the Pelicans

Karl and LH are in the same boat - they respect and defend each other - that would be my guess anyways

They aren't in the same boat.

George Karl has coached three or four NBA teams and has actually burned many bridges.

Lionel Hollins didn't get a opportunity to coach a team until his mid-50s and it was a job most thought he'd fail in.

I understand why George Karl hasn't gotten another job (and that's not factoring health concerns), but LH not getting another job is a travesty.

A lot of LH not getting another job was due to the way he handled the Rudy Gay trade as well as how he was trashing the front office with the "Champagne taste on a beer budget" comment. He'll probably get another job in a year or two, but talking ish about your bosses to the media doesn't look good to future employers.

Respect your employer and everything will be good.
