RE: Chris Jenkins
Hmmm good find. I know we offered him back in 11-12. Maybe he'd be open to transferring here like Price did.

Are you sure you aren't Hoopster's long, lost brother (assuming he has one). 03-lmfao

Hoopster e-mailed me about this guy I think yesterday.

EDIT: Monday

"Colorado loses the redshirt freshman from Detroit the week of the first game.

Redshirt freshman Chris Jenkins has left the Colorado basketball program according to William Whelan of BuffStampede.com. The 6-7 forward from Detroit redshirted in his first season in Boulder and was expected to earn his first minutes with the Buffaloes when the season kicks off this Friday.'

Dear Friends,
What about eligibility? If he were to transfer to any other school will he have to sit out another year? I really don't know about the possible, immediate, etc. playing time with transfers. Some seem to get to play right away, and others must sit out a year.

EMU has plenty of depth this year so if he came here then we wouldn't need him until next year anyway.

Below is the UDM thread on their site.

I believe that EMU has a scholarship to give or did we give it to Hughley?

As I want to say (post), it is ALWAYS good to save one scholarship in case a gift comes after the 1st semester.

Without a scholarship to give... two hopes: slim and none.

UDM wants him bad! Not sure we recruited him hard out of hs, I don't think he gave us a look! We have already invested in a sf with the Nobles committment. By the way, someone referred to Nobles as a young Tashaun Prince the other day, hope he's right. Need to keep on ordering double fries for the boy!
