Sigh. Can't argue it. We have no reason to believe this will be a close game.

There is every reason to believe this is going to be a close game, and not a blow out in either case. Why? Both teams are going through terrible seasons, and neither has shown any offense or defense that is superior to the other.
In my opinion this will be close, and decided on who gets the better of the breaks.

I don't think we (WMU) are good enough to blow anybody out, unless Eastern just quits.

If we can't win this game then "I will eat my hat"

There is no way we lose this game..

This game is a pure toss up.

IF either team shows up Saturday they win.

I hope we haven't completely quit. I actually hope WMU hasn't quit either.

We have WMU and a tougher CMU team but players play to win because that is what players do.

Fleck will try to give this game away, but EMU's D just won't let him...

Good god, guys... I'm by no means confident in any aspect of this team, but I can't see WMU blowing anyone out. I suspect Hill (if he's back) or Brumfield to have a field day against the Broncos D, which is about as porous as our own.

I really think they will pull this one of if they come out to play. I was in Toledo, and I saw effort from a lot of individuals late into the game. They haven't all quit.

I may be wrong, but I believe the pre game shows Brumfield starting and Hill second on the depth chart. Is there any explanation as to why ie injury?

WMU's defense looked pretty darn good against MSU. EMU's defense has looked pretty darn good against NO ONE. They will get blown out. I will bet my house on it. And yes, I believe the team has quit.

That was the first game of the year for both Western and Michigan State. I don't hold much credibility to first game performances. People who were at the Eastern/Rutgers game, said Eastern didn't play that bad when in New Jersey, but again that was early in the year too.
I still stand by my earlier prediction. Where do you live in case I have to pick-up your deed. HA-HA.

I don't think the team has "quit" per se. Lets be honest here, its been a tough year with Reed passing away, all of it takes it toll. I hope they're up for this game and get rewarded with a win.
