Ok, ok, I am pretty sure GaSt can compete very nicely with USM at this point.

Man, it worries me for the rest of the season when Troy and WKU are ranked so closely to us, and stAte is far ahead of us.

Do not worry, ULM will lose to ASU this Saturday, UL will finish off Troy, and the rest is all in good time. It will be in your hands to deal with ASU, a very good team.

You can dream Funroe. ASU has a good shot of beating you in Funroe. We will be ready to make a statement Thursday night. We will not come out flat against Troy. Troy will put up a good fight like good programs do but we will push them back down a win rather easily.

They should allow the two worst teams in the nation to play one another.

I'd pay to watch USM and Ga State play one another.

They have no idea, its just random numbers. We could go down to ULM and blow them out...or we could lay a giant egg on the field. ULL/ULM has no guarantee either. This is the Fun Belt.

Go back to the Troy board to continue the circle jerk with the trojans.

At this stage of the game I think GSU takes them easily. USM has plain given up on the season, meanwhile the panthers still have some fight left in them. I do agree with you however about paying for those type of match ups they could be quite entertaining in their own way.

Georgia State definitely showed signs of life a few weeks ago, however, the last two weeks they have looked like the Georgia St we have become so quickly accustomed to. Kind of like we all expect South to lose by 1 on a last minute play.... 03-banghead

If that happens, I think UL would pound them in the dirt. (actually turf). Beyond showing that the SBC is dominant, it would also be some revenge since NT eeked out a win over UL last year in Denton.

Call me crazy, but I would absolutely prefer that to playing Tulane. They are bad with no fans, and we throttled em by a billion the last time we met, so I'd rather not play a truly lackluster opponent. UNT wouldn't be great, but they'd be a better opponent than Tulane. Sadly though I think we're gonna be saddled with the Tulame.

I hear you, but play Tulane does have recruiting implications in New Orleans. And you get a shot at pounding them in their home stadium.

On the field, I agree with this. Other factors, however, make Tulane a perfectly marvelous opponent in New Orleans. 1. Both Schools recruit very heavily in metro New Orleans. 2. Tulane will be in the AAC next year; so a win over them will be three bowl games in a row that the Cajuns beat teams going to that conference [though SDSU never made it], a much better selling point in national perception than wins over MAC or CUSA teams. 3. We will beat Tulane like a rented mule [thanks, Hemi Man], a great thing for us reputation-wise in the state of Louisiana and in New Orleans.

If we make the Liberty fine. Heart of Dallas is our preference. HOD folks were at the NT-Rice game Thursday night.

HOD is perfect for UNT. You can do there what we do in NOLA.
