Just to get some idea of what other SBC teams do each year, how many Money games generally do each of your teams play each year?

Texas St does one. Our set up so far has been one money, one FCS, and two home and homes.

I think most play two although Benson wants that reduced to one.

That's really the model I want Ga Southern to use.

I prefer the home and home variety. We played Tennessee as our money game this year, we also play Navy, but that is a home and home. We have also played Miss St last season, but they are coming to Mobile next year as well.

Based on our future schedules it will be this way the next two seasons. After that nothing is set in stone at this time. I'm sure if a second home and home doesn't get locked into place another money game would be added but our AD is pretty determined to have at least 6 homes games each season.

We play one money game a year now. It wasn't long ago that it was 2 or 3 a year. Preferrably, it is one money game, one home and home with a "marquee" opponent, one home and home with a peer and one FCS.

ULM only had 1 money game this year.......Oklahoma. Both Baylor and Wake Forest were 1:1 home/away contracts.

We have had up to 3, but 2 is the desired number.

Someone with better knowledge can correct me if I'm wrong, but the Cajuns have done only one true "money" game in the last few years. Arizona in 2011, Florida last year, and Arkansas this year. Our recent games against Oklahoma State and Kansas State were 2-1 deals, but I believe there was some sort of financial deal for the 2nd road trip. Next year is one money game against Ole Miss. I believe we don't have any more 2-1 deals in place which is fine with me. H-H is the way to go.

I don't so much mind the 2-1 scenario as two of the games are home/home and one money game. With some schools, that's the only way you'll get them to play you at home.

ASU wont even play 2 for 1's now. Either home and home or give us a million bucks...their choice.

I really like that we play Illinois next year for our money game, it will be a good change from the annual stomping by Texas Tech.

this is one area the sunbelt has dramatically improved in.

in the past it was not uncommon for teams to have 2 and sometimes even 3 games where our teams straight up played beatdown money games.

It varies at NMSU. At least one Money game a year sometimes 2. We have to do a lot of return games the next few years for this years schedule. May only have one Home game on our Non Con Schedules for the future.
