It would be hilarious if UNT ends up in the New Orleans Bowl against Louisiana.
If we make the Liberty fine. Heart of Dallas is our preference. HOD folks were at the NT-Rice game Thursday night.
HOD is perfect for UNT. You can do there what we do in NOLA.
Agreed, ULL would pound Tulane. I would love another crack at them, as I think we would now too. They aren't that good.

This isn't meant to be taken as a slight, but I'm curious... How's UNT's attendance going this year? With the success you guys are having on the field, it's gotta be getting back to closer where you guys want it, right?
I'd say HOD would be close to ideal (ideal obviously being BCS bowl) for UNT. I'd almost say even better would be another Texas team there.

GSU is a four yr old football program and we are awful. But, as many as you all stated the players are playing with heart. I'm glad that others outside our program are seeing that.
The average margin of defeat this yr v. FBS competition is basically half of what it was last yr against FCS competition. That number is unreal to me because we expect the number to widen when playing tougher competition. In addition, we have many of the same starters from last year. Unlike basketball, we are about two years away from being competitive. We got some talent coming in and we have some young talent now. We have many true freshman all through out our 2 man depth chart. Our starting DE is a 17 year old man beast. When he's 19, he's gonna be something to reckon with.lol
The main thing is that Coach Miles is making these kids believe that they can win. I'm not saying we'll get it this year. But, looking at the numbers from this year and last, there are signs for improvement.

All games 20,182 average
Conference games 22,033 average (lowest MTSU 21,171)
Remaining two conference games (UTSA,UTEP) - UTEP, this week, said to be close to a sellout.

GSU will be a force to be reckoned with in a year or two. Both USA, Tx St., and USA are all great adds. I do of course know USA has been in the SBC even longer than we have, but are just now playing football.
