I have had so many people in the past couple of weeks moaning about having to play games on Tuesdays.

I was thinking that we might play one Tuesday night game every other year and maybe one Thursday night game per year. How far would I be off target?

Do you play a Tuesday night game every year? How many and how many on Thursday per year?

Is how often you play on those nights effected by your success? Meaning: Do the TV channels demand games more from our winning programs and push getting marquee matchups in the conference on those nights more or is it decided by the conference and spread out to be fair to everybody?

I'm thinking this isn't as big of a deal as many naysayers are making it out to be. Are their concerns legit?

This is our first year but our only none Saturday will be the last game of the season on a Friday against Troy.

Yes, TV gets to choose the matchups. They generally choose two Tuesday games per season. One almost always involves the defending champ. It is rare for a team to host a Tuesday game in consecutive seasons.

I think we get 5 Thursday games a year as a league. Usually the big names get the majority of the games, but it is more evenly split. ULM, ASU, Troy, UL, and WKU got Thursday games this year. My guess is Texas State will get one next year.

My guess is GSU gets one Thursday game within the next two seasons, and will not get a Tuesday game until the team starts making a name for themselves.

Oh man... the Tuesday night stuff started last year for us...it used to be reserved for MAC only. Thursday's prolly once a year.

Not enough

Would like to see us play 2 early afternoon Saturday games, two Saturday nigh games and 2 Thursday night games

Well, it is an easier thing for Ga. State to accept. You don't have to worry about Tuesday or Thursday night games hurting your attendance.

I know WKU and UL has played 2

Louisiana played 2 (home, away) last year and 3 (away, away, home) this year. The last of the 3 will be the game against Troy this Thursday. I suppose it's the price of success.

I'd say it's good to be the visiting team on a Tuesday night....sort of takes the homefield advantage out of it for the other guys.

Tuesday Night as a visitor is a big advantage. Thursday Night is an advantage for the home team because of the short week and travel involved.

This year Troy has two Thursday road games, one Thursday home game, and one Friday home game.

These week day games really confuse the season. Seems like our have a lot of open dates. We had a Tue. game and a Thur. game.
