I doubt that DS Freeman HS charges $35.00. Freeman HS has the closest high school stadium to the UR campus. You probably do not want to watch your beloved Dukes LOSE their third straight game in Robins Stadium, and thus remain WINLESS there!

Freeman High would give JMU a better game in 2014 than UR will without a doubt. I plan to see 2 UR losses this year: UVA and JMU.

When in doubt, go to the visiting team's website. Per their site, there will be a video feed of the game. Don't know if there is a fee.

Already ordered my tickets for the Lehigh game. Used to live in Allentown back in the 80's. Very nice area.

Easy drive up and back, particularly if you take Rte 15 and I81/78. Very scenic.

Looking forward to seeing the facility up at Lehigh. And a win also of course!!

Yup, well worth the trip. Good atmosphere against a competitive team. Nice stadium (albeit a bit far from the field for not having a track) with a mountain backdrop. Even in September, the temp shouldn't be too bad.


ParentofJMUMRDs...did you ever go to a Lehigh game at their old Stadium? It was right on campus, rather uniquely shaped and seated around 20k. I think the last game there was around 1987.

Never went to a college football game before my older daughter started at JMU in the fall of 2006 and became a member of the MRD's. I remember the old stadium at Lehigh, seem to recall some discussion back and forth when they moved the athletic facilities to Saucon Valley off Campus. Of course that was 30 years ago so I may be a bit hazy on the details!!

Looking forward to the trip. Might also make the trip to Albany and Stony Brook this year.
