It is Western Michigan. We get them in Statesboro in 2015 and go there in 2016.

That is good news for 2015 as with 4 SB games and 1 likely FCS game that should give us 6 home games in 2015.

FBSchedules.com announced we have also added Citadel for 2015 which makes our 2015 Home games: Citadel, W. Michigan, Georgia St, New Mexico St, S. Alabama and Texas St!

Would it though? IF we have 12 teams would we go to more than an 8 game conference schedule? I doubt it. You might have a different opponent, but not an added game. Does anyone have any idea what our other OOC games are? Still hoping for UNLV in 2015

I don't know if I go as far as to say it will be like a home game. I don't see us bringing 15-20K to this game like we would if it were at Paulson. However, I do think we will match their crowd next year, so at most this will be like a neural site game.

We were in serious talks with Hawaii for a Thanksgiving weekend "bowl game" in 2014, but they wouldn't pay us enough to justify the trip.

We crapped the bed with Hawaii during our transition. There were some crazy negotiations were they wanted a one off and we wanted a home and home. They finally said 2-1 and moved some weekends around. Then the summer or late spring before it was suppsoed to happen Fran told our AD to back out of the deal because he wanted more time for recruiting (the game was going to be in December). Hawaii got pissed and their AD went public about it slamming our AD and saying he wouldn't work with us again. Maybe its why we didn't go to the MWC, who knows but it was a heck of a way to start our transition on the wrong foot.

To be fair Fran was hired that season in late December and had a very short recruiting window and wanted to get a jump for the next recruiting class. But in the end both sides handled the whole thing very very poorly.
