I'm on the other opinion of the new entrance. That isn't ringing with me for some reason. Same ol same ol I guess but I like the corner entrance under the cannon, with the band tunnel leading straight to the home side lines. Plus any modification there would inhibit something useful on that side of Larimer ever being done, like stands...

If there's a logistical reason for it, I guess it is what is it. As a cosmetic, seems a step backwards to me.

Wish a new scoreboard and video board would have been included as part of the renovation. Have it added to the top of the Larimer Complex, that could have been a neat looking addition.

Agreed. Our scoreboard is far from anything special. Video board is very small, compared to other schools.

One good thing about the new entrance is that the teams will be separated leaving the field at half time...a little thing but when we are fired up leading Missouri at half time and running to Larrimer, we wont have to wait on the visitors to get out of the way LOL

Overall all a nice upgrade, but I'm also on the fence about changing the way the team enters the field. I wasn't opposed to coming through the gate towards the home stands. There isn't much left of the original stadium and punching a hole in the old stone wall just doesn't seem right?

Yes. I believe MOB mentioned that it wasn't included in the drawings but will remain in place.

It absolutely better have a place of prominence, and still be aimed at the 50 yard line of Doyt!
