I don't know all the facts, but it sounds like a bit harsh of a penalty.

At Kansas they would have thrown the book at him. He probably would have had to sit out the entire first half of their exhibition game.

At OSU coaches would not report it and upon discovery Moore would get two free tats and Toledo would lose a schollie for 2015.

Willie Moore gets 9 games for selling his Oregon tennis shoes after deciding to transfer. He got a hardship immediate eligibility at Miami because his Mom lost her home and has spent some time living on the street. Johnny Football comes from a wealthy family, he sells his autograph and gets suspended for half a game. This ridiculous inconsistancy makes me want to take a bat to the head of the people in charge of setting the penalties. It just is not right.
