Any recommendations on where to park, places to eat, etc. from the Bulldogs?

Dawg House is a good sports bar type place with great burgers and a lot of other stuff.

Ponchatoulas is one of the most popular places with jambalaya, red beans & rice, gumbo, etc.

Dowlings Smokehouse has pretty good BBQ.

Portico is a good place for drinks and a little more upscale menu.

Lots of places to park within a 5 minute walk to the stadium.

Sorry, he did befuddle and confuse me. Maybe you can help me undestand what being domiciled in Dogpatch has to do with a Top 25 ranking.

Maybe you can share with those of us under 70 what the heck Dogpatch is.

Dogpatch is the rural community setting for Al Capps comic strip, Lil Abner. The homes were small shotgun style with a stove pipe through the roof of each, farmers grew turnips, postman delivered the mail riding a mule, and so on. It was one of the most popular strips of all time but discontinued in 1980's due to the political corectness movement. Main characters were Pappy, Mammy, and Lil Abner Yokum who finally married Daisy Mae who had chased him for years.

Its a tradition. We show up, watch a game or two and I get drunk. She then drives my drunk ass to the stadium.

It's beginning to sound like you're going to have to narrow this one down for us. drunk guys with pregnant wives seem to be sort of plentiful out y'all's way 03-wink

I'll check and see if it's going to be aired up in Big MO. I got plenty of Maker's Mark and beer for the occasion.

Listening to Tech's weekly press conference and there is a lot of talk about this being a rivalry game. I'm not sure if USM will look at it that way, but Tech certainly is.

Don't go out to eat in town; eat at the tailgate. End of discussion.

As bland as Miss'ippi food is, you toads will be in hog heaven.

They don't even know which Carolina they are in, much less what part of Louisiana we are from.
