App 2-7 and Ga. Southern 4-4 right now. Who would have thought it?

Well there are a lot of reasons and I'm excited for next year but this year has definitely not been fun

Yep, we all hate Furple and they will be able to say that handed both of us a loss the last time we played them in FCS.

Got a feeling both fan bases would have been against red shirting so many players this year if we could go back and do a vote.
Like playing with two years of recruits pretty much and very few juniors and seniors. If we had both heard about FBS earlier recruiting this past year would have been a lot different and much larger. Still think giving scholarships to existing walk ons , just to get the # on scholarship up, has hurt both teams also. Will be glad when this season is over.

But either one could have been SunBelt conference champions had they only played a SunBelt schedule......

Hopefully all of your loudmouth yahoo fans (both schools)will wait to actually win before you declare yourselves national champions in the preseason.

I wouldn't expect a response to this post. Seems a select few people on here (mostly UL and WKU fans up to this point) want to give us crap for stuff they imagined we said. I guess being proud of our history and excited about our future in the Sun Belt = we are going to own the Sun Belt from day 1.

I know the guy has a lot of bark. He might be the stAte bad seed on this forum, the rest seem very reasonable.

The pick six was with three minutes left when Bryant had his arm hit as he threw.

Then App drove down the field and had 3rd and 2 from the 12. Two straight roll-out incompletions in the end zone. It was a mistake with three timeouts left and 30 seconds left. Just get the first down and then go for the score. The roll-out throw was also used on 4th and goal in the first half that didn't work.

UTC adjusted at the half and their defensive line took over in the second half. The momentum gradually swung, aided by timely penalties and the fake punt conversion. They had a fake FG go for a TD in the first quarter.

Senatoba has made it very clear that he vehemently opposed adding App State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Idaho, Texas Arlington, and New Mexico State to the league. He saw some value in Texas State..

Mind you, I don't think he understands that the SBC wouldn't be in existence without those adds...but oh well.

I have no issue with fans disliking App being added to the Sun Belt, however I do take issue with those that put words in our fans mouth which were never posted to fit their agenda. We're here now, hitting the recruiting trail and will look to compete in ALL sports. Looking forward to it.

I think he confused you guys with a few of the Georgia Southern fans who were on here early on proclaiming their future dominance.

Maybe, but he seems to be sticking to his inaccurate post vs. admitting his mistake.
