Winning will of course help...

Maybe Memphis needs a steel erector stadium like the Lamers instead of that giant stadium they have the Liberty Bowl at. If I recall that stadium is not very near the campus. Why don't y'all copy TooLame and put it next to the university if it is so appropriate?

Liberty Bowl Stadium 61K more or less around seven miles from the university.

Mercedes Super Dome to TooLame University 3.1 miles seats about 72K.

Gee those two do not look a lot different, only TooLame a lot closer.

The Liberty Bowl is 2.1 miles or a 5 minute car ride from campus...in it's current configuration the Liberty Bowl holds 58,000+

(This was taken right after they finished painting the field)

RE: Tulane is on the rise
New Orleans in not purple and gold. Tulane doctors, attorneys and business leaders control this community. Tulane is the largest employer in New Orleans. It is ranked nationally as the number 52nd university in the nation. It is known internationally and has alumni across the country particularly in the northeast and throughout the world.
It's endowment is over one billion dollars. It is the only university in Louisiana that is a member of the prestigious and exclusive Association of American Universities. Compare this statistics against our state universities in Louisiana that seem to concentrate on football while the academic side is losing state financial support and having its top professors leave out of state for better paying positions.

How is U-LaLa going to knock Tulane and Memphis when they can't even get their own stadium plan off the ground. Especially when they want to build a 60k facility when they're in the Sun Belt and don't even sell out their own 30k stadium.

Lemme get this straight. You're knocking the Cajuns when your own team averages fewer fans per game and is expanding their stadium with an ultimate capacity/capability of 60,000 as well?

03-lmfao numbnut No wonder they left you guys behind.

So much fail in this post.

1. We built a new stadium from scratch, something U-LaLa can't afford.

2. We still had a few games where we drew 33k, we have played off campus at multiple venues all across the city. In other words, we outdrew U-LaLa without being anywhere near campus.

3. You trying call us left behind when CUSA picked FCS and start ups ahead of U-LaLa. We can go to ANY G5 conference we want but have our sights set on bigger things.

4. Broadway couldn't keep his job here but what is head and shoulders above everybody at U-LaLa. Remember your place, you're in the Sun Belt for a reason.

Cajuns still outdrew your sorry arses, what's that say about the support you get?

And yes, I know you have your sights on bigger things. Unfortunately, you're weapon is unloaded. Good luck with that dream though, sucker.

You're no better than the rest of us, just another G-5 wanting to be something you're not.

You are right about one thing though, the Sun Belt will welcome you guys when you're ready. It's only a matter of time.03-lmfao

Of course you outdraw them...they're still building their new 40k stadium and playing games at a MLS soccer stadium that holds under 25k.
