AP Poll is Out
Below is the AP poll that was just released:

Don't worry about it... I never put any stock in pre-season... let the games and action on the court prove the rankings!

Actually this poll would put 5 teams in the tournament.

I think if Creighton was one of the "returning" teams they would be rated a lot higher- might even be ranked ahead of Marquette quite frankly

Georgetown is the interesting one. probably for some voters tough to get the last image of the FGCU game out of their mind- then adding to that losing best player.

Creighton should be ranked ahead of Marquette and Georgetown should be ranked higher. Even without last year's best player, they still have a ton of talent.

like I said with Creighton- if they weren't entering a percieved tougher conference- I think they would be ranked(and quite possibly higher than Marquette).

Georgetown like I said- it's a combo of losing Porter and a statement on the NCAA failures the last few years.
