Traditional Championships after week 9 (If there were no divisions)
For most of college football history, the conference champ(s) were crowned by having the best regular season record. Times are changing and most conferences don't do it that way anymore. Still, I like the idea of keeping track of how things look with the old set-up and setting up some award for that achievement still.

So this thread will be about recognizing the teams in divisional set-up conferences that finish with the best overall record regardless of division. In short, this is looking at how things would look with a traditional set-up.

I'm nicknaming the Big Ten award, the Western Cup in honor of the original nickname for the conference, the Western Conference. If anyone has ideas for the others that go along with their history, feel free to post.
