This game is going to be ugly. I'm not sure how we'll be able to hang with these guys until we're dressing more than 40-45 scholarship players. It'll be nice to get to even a full FCS roster next year.

It appears that their starting QB will make his return for this game. Oh goody. Just in time.

I do not usually preach moral victories, but keeping this one close would qualify.

You can never tell with first year teams. We lost to Lambuth and then turned around took Jacksonville State to OT a week after they beat Ole Miss. Startups are wild cards because half the team was in high school 5 months ago.

This one should get pretty ugly, if it doesn't Coastal Carolina is worse than most thought. Our D-line and linebacker depth is little to none at this point.

Chanticleers roll, sorry guys. They've had that high-octane thing going since week three and you guys have been giving up points on the ground and in the air in recent weeks.

CCU is good, I think they steamroll over Charlotte. Maybe it will be relatively close but I think CCU is on another level.

Its Myrtle Beach, no one lives there for seven months of the year. And those that do tend to be in the 55+ age range.

Indeed, I lived there for three years and that place is a ghost town from October to February (when all the Canucks come down to golf). Had friends and co-workers at Coastal who didn't even know they had a team or cared. The school also struggled to connect with the community who did live there year round. Unless you were near campus, you would forget they were even there.

Yeah, I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

I'll probably go down and watch the basketball exhibitions and keep track of the game on Twitter.

The game will be on WCCB, FYI.

Between the color scheme and the nickname, they look and sound like a '90s minor-league hockey team.
