1998 Great Alaska Shootout: UC vs. Duke
I have to admit I'm getting nostalgic from Kenyon Martin's UC HOF Induction and the post of the 2000 UC vs. DePaul game by CliftonAve. Here's another great classic game memory........UC beating the #1 ranked (at the time) Dukies in the 1998 Great Alaska Shootout with the likes of Brand, Langdon, Battier and Maggette. At the end of the game with 3 seconds left and the score tied, Ryan Fletcher heaves a perfect pass beyond half court to KMart who dished off to Melvin Levett who dunked home the win. It was great watching it live except that the game ended after 2 AM. It was worth it! Here's a link to 30+ seconds of highlights:
