because it cant live on its own

the law doesnt define it as life

just a few crazy notions like that

Ok, the can't live on its own is a stupid argument. If I plucked you out of your environment and dropped you naked ,without food in the South Pole you would die, even with record high temps down there due to global warming and all. We can grow babies in test tubes so their natural environment is just plain wrong.

Your argument applies to all children up to the age of 25

The law actually punts on wether or not a fetus is a life; it doesn't really make the issue hinge on that.

The fact that has become an argument really highlights our stupidity as a species existing on this planet. Of course its a life. The left gets their agenda passed because they can sidetrack people by presenting a false argument.

Well, if you said in no uncertain terms it was a life then the issue would pass to the imperfect science of deciding when it becomes a "life." At conception? 6 weeks? 20 weeks?

Still, I agree with you that we ought to defer to nature and call a spade a spade.

Personally, I think it should be a choice as long as a pill can end the "issue" but beyond that you are taking drastic measures to kill something and you shouldn't be allowed to.

abort the oxygen users by pulling the plug on their oxygen. they can't survive on their own so they don't get to live according to john1992.

someday if you ever do have kids, you will realize how wrong you are about your calloused view of taking an innocent life.

wow and you level the charge of "hard-hearted" at conservatives.

no i totally understand the emotional side of it. im just making fun of the cons on this board who think women just seemingly have an abortion and act like its nothing. its one of the things a lot of GOPers say on this board that i call that out on and make fun of them for. okiedixie is especially guilty of it

trust me i am well aware of the traumatic effect it has on someone.

Unless you are a woman and have carried a child and given birth you absolutely can not understand.

lol and lemme guess......you do

ive seen enough first hand experience from it myself where i can feel confident enough to say that it has a pretty long lasting effect

Um yes I do know first hand...don't assume everyone on here is male.
So yes I can speak with more authority on what carrying a child and giving birth is like.

I can also speak to the difficult decision of getting pg when I wasn't married and just starting my career having recently graduated college and living 2500 miles from my nearest family member. I made a choice albeit not the easy way out that abortion would've been. I could've just gotten rid of it and gone on with my career but what I had a hand in creating deserved the right to live...
My "choice" is now a college grad and a gainfully employed productive member of society.
And I live with no regrets knowing I absolutely made the right "choice."

A pill can end the "issue" at nine months...

when they have nothing substantive to add to the debate, insults and name-calling are usually the cards played by the left. exhibit A above.

Yea if I was a guy who just caught lecturing a woman about how they can't understand I might also resort to "so's your face"...
