I hope they get the concession situation fixed, Huskie Stadium will be busy that weekend.

RE: High School Playoffs
With a lot of high school kids there probably need to increase the amount of candy available, cups for hot chocolate and hot dogs.

Some of the local restaurant owners have talked to NIU about doing a "Taste of DeKalb" tent. I think it's a great idea; NIU should go for it.

I imagine most fans are there to see their own high school play. After their team plays and they leave do they sell that seat to the next game or does your one ticket get you into all the games that day?

The thought of someone sitting in my seat is somewhat disturbing to me. Maybe I should rope it off now. I'll only remove the rope if I like the person sitting there, and she has a nice smile.

Disturbing to you? How do you think the person that sits in your 03-puke seat feels?

Very privileged.....and with a very warm rear end.

Just wait till they see your gold-plated trough. They'll commit to NIU on the spot.

where is it located?

Annie Glidden, just south of the train tracks. Looks like it'll be a nice one.

I really think that this new hotel will make all of the surrounding hotels in Dekalb better. It will make the other hotels "up the standards" IMO. Best Western and Baymont will have to paint and upgrade amenities in the rooms for it to be on par with the new one. Very happy that the decided to build the new one and will make the entrance way into the campus look more appealing.

RE: High School Playoffs
-I am sure they will have it open. May even let team warmup w/o pads in there before their game. Sure they will have a lot of volunteers around to oversee it.

- Team will be home/off for holidays and not practicing. Likely come back Sunday for meetings.

-However, guessing Lynch, Drago are there if MC plays....as well as anyone else if their school is in the championship.

Yeah, I need to really shine that sucker up before the playoffs. Those kids have never urinated so well in their life.

The sign in front of the hotel ( Hampton Inn) says " Opening Winter, 2013" ) I doubt if it will be ready for the state playoffs.

That's a major miscalculation and lost revenue on their part. Should have been able to get that up in time.
