Injury Update after EMU
Saw Brescacin limp off (maybe a hammy?) in the second half. Not sure if he returned.

Santa back.

Great to see Sebastiano back there returning punts. Maybe they'll start to get him more reps at WR next week?

RB:
-Stingily DNP with "turf toe....Same for UMASS?
-AK #3 on the sidelines in the "white jersey."
-And we "burn" another red-shirt with Joel B. on the field. We need some more quicknes with the loss of JHJr. and I thought he provided that Saturday. He hits the "hole" pretty quickly. Look for more at UMASS next week.

RE: Injury Update after EMU
The team certainly seems to be getting better. I'm glad coach looked ahead on Stingily early and held him out. We didn't need him yesterday. Santa's back, Sims back, Sebastiano back, Jordan looks healthier every week. We are setting up nicely for Ball State. Here's hoping Akeem makes an appearance this year to give us some more depth at RB.

It looks more and more like Akeem is done for the year. He hasn't practiced all year. It'd be silly to bring back a rusty Akeem so late in the year. Get him a medical and let him play all year next year.

Canada was holding his lower back and limping with his left leg.

I will assume he is out next week no matter what.

So I was impressed with turner and the guy from aurora. Bougioun I think he could be good in the future. I also think turner is going to be great. I like how he runs his routes. Is tommy lee and AJ back next year? I know can stingley is and will Akeem want to play next year? This would be a bg help for next years quarterback

RE: Injury Update after EMU
I know a lot of people are upset about the amount of burnt red shirts.. but the more i thought about it the more i think it's a good thing. It's great for these kids to get some experience in games like this and next week so they're more prepared next year when all of the seniors leave.

Watch the replay. It looks like he may have dislocated his finger. I think they were trying to pop it back in. If that's all it is, he'll be fine.

Good for the short to medium term, could hurt us 4 yes out. That said we have a great opportunity on our plate so I support going all out to seize the day!

RE: Injury Update after EMU
You burn redshirts if it can be the difference in going undefeated. 4 years from now, it might just be the difference between 7 or 8 wins, or 2 or 3 wins. You don't know. Doeren pulled the redshirt off Tommylee because a MAC title was on the line; this is bigger.

Look, next years class looks even better than this one. So in order to give the kids in that class time to develop I'm ok with sacrificing the redshirts this year.

Had Tommylee's redshirt not been burned, we wouldn't have beaten Toledo, wouldn't have won the division, wouldn't have won the MACC ... you get the drift. Looking back, the decision was seismic. We would not be where we are now had Tommylee redshirted.

I DVRed the game and watched it when I got home from Dekalb. Definitely looked like a dislocated finger and they popped it back into place. He was sitting next to Lynch at the end of the game and I was watching his hands. Looked like he was OK from what I saw, he had normal movement in them.

I would like to see Deuce featured more against UMass and see if he can make plays deep down field like TLL and Brown.
