Article and Photos of the Wake Last Night for EMU's Demarius Reed
As fate would have it, EMU plays at NIU today.

The wake was last night in Chicago. Today will be the funeral.

Below is the link to the story and many touching photographs of the wake.

Today will be a tough, tough day for EMU FB players, probably much tougher than last Saturday where raw, gut wrenching emotion carried them through the day.

RIP Demarius.

This very sad situation is beyond football. There is a lot of coverage from the Chicago media who unfortunately have far too much experience in reporting young men tragically killed.

We will see a lot of black #2 wrist bands at today's game @ NIU.

Can NIU have mercy on our kids today?

I just hope NIU doesn't play 60 or 70 on our team today.

The photos said it all, tragic. Terrible indictment on our society that so many people do not value the other persons life. Tragic this young man lost his life over nothing.
