Incredible. Unless the Irish gain a BCS berth, they will have to rely on a conference not filling its bowl tie-ins. Which means ND would be "relegated" to a lower-mid tier game. Would they decline such an invitation?

I believe they declined a bowl invite a few years ago (the year Charlie Weiss was fired???).

Okay, I'll take a bite of Pizza! Pizza.

Undefeated NIU gets robbed of a BCS bowl bid and ND decides to take the BIG's bid for the LCPB in a marque matchup.

Better to play a 12 - 0 directional than a 7 - 5 directional. 03-idea

FWIW, The MWC is taking a big hit in the computer ratings tonight with Boise State going down for a loss to BYU.

The biggest challenge for NIU is going to be finishing undefeated with Ball State, Toledo and a MACC on a neutral site to crunch through. Fresno State is looking at home field against a 9-3 Boise State team as its last remaining hurdle.

This year's version of the Irish will have a tough time winning a bowl game.

That is because the intern coach(Coach I, for us Zips fans) was an moron.
