What To Look For and What We Saw in the Navy Game
What to Look for:
• Toledo offensive line to dominate the Navy defensive front particularly in the second half – watch Zack Kerin handle Navy’s NT one-on-one as an indicator
o Yes, particularly in the second half
• More involvement of Rocket tight ends in the passing game
o Zac Rosenbauer had just one recepton
• Big day for Flu – 150+ yards on the ground plus catching at least five passes
o Flu had 160 yards rushing and three receptions before he went out with an injury (back); Kareem Hunt filling in for David had 127 yards rushing and caught one of two passes thrown to him
• Navy linebackers and CBs quick to the LOS on running plays
o Yep
• Navy to run a majority of the option plays to their right side
o Yes
• Low snaps on the limited use of shotgun formation by Navy
o Rarely used and snaps were not an issue
• Excellent punting-team and kick-off team coverage play by both teams
o Navy did a great job while kick-off coverage for the Rockets was sub par
• Bernard Reedy to have a kickoff return of 35 yards or more
o No – his longest was 22 yards
• Few penalties and turnovers by Navy
o Four flags for 40 yards with one lost fumble resulting in a UT touchdown
• Rockets to come out passing on offense
o Two of the first three plays were pass plays and six of the first 11 play drive were passes
• Rockets to score no more than seven points in the first quarter
o Just three points
• Rockets to get back to their defensive habit of multiple sacks
o Six certainly qualifies as multiple
• Delayed blitzes by Rockets LBs putting pressure on Reynolds up the middle
o First two QB sacks were by line-backers coming up the middle on delayed blitzes

Very good breakdown on the game...

Aside from that, what I saw after regulation, were a bunch of people in my section heading for the exits... Being my usual obnoxious self, I proceeded to let them have it... Bellowing the fact that there beloved suckeyes would still be on tv when they get home, and that it was ludicrous to not stay and support the Rockets... Especially in an OT game...

Good! I never did understand leaving early irrespective of the score unless you're headed to a wedding or a funeral.

RE: What To Look For and What We Saw in the Navy Game
those "sacks" are more like tackles for loss against Navy's triple option running attack

No those were sacks. He dropped back to pass.

there is a difference between a sack (pass play) and a tackle for loss (running play).
