Does Abilene Christian even count as a Division I opponent? The reason I ask is that the school is transitioning from Division II. If NMSU doesn't beat them . . .

I think Hawaii will pick off Army, who will have not played in the 3 weeks prior to that game.

I'm banking on UCONN beating Memphis to end the season and NMSU beating Abilene Christian and/or Idaho.

You never know what team you get week to week in the Sun Belt, but I think Georgia State's a sure thing at this point. They lost the one game they should have won, and I don't think they hang tough with any others unless the other side gets lazy. That might be USA when both have nothing to play for but pride. Kind of like a tree falling in the forest without an ear to hear it kind of thing.

UMOH's running a close second. Other than Kent State, that's virtually the toughest schedule remaining.

UConn's going to get two (Temple and Memphis), NMSU's got A-C, Hawaii's got those SA's, WMU might be able to get two there, and USM's got to be better than one of those schools.

You hope some of these schools figure it out for next year, considering all of the new programs entering FBS. Uuuugly.

South might not be very good this year, but they aren't terrible (and have a road win over CUSA leading Tulane to show for it, as well as taking Tennessee to the last play of the game before falling). USA doesn't quit. And Georgia State beat South 3 years ago when both were starting up. Lots of South players remember that game. Georgia State might catch up on someone, but I don't think it will be USA. By the way, we know they will throw everything but the kitchen sink at us if they're 0-11 going into the game. We'll be ready.

That being said, Georgia State is improving. Many think they might beat ULM. I don't - I think they're going 0-12 this year.

GSU's been in there for a few of them, too. I don't think you have to be a lousy team to lose to the likes of GSU. You just have to play lousily.

The season's been loaded with garbage games: UMass-UMOH, Idaho-Temple, Idaho-NMSU, Temple-Memphis...I don't think USA-GSU is one of those.

You never know what's going to happen these days. UConn may upset UCF down there like They did Us last year. Dont think it can't happen.

And USF could win out to take the AAC's BCS bid too. But I'd both the odds of either happening so small as to be seen only with the help of a microscope...

NMSU and WMU barely pulled out wins against Abilene Christian and UMass respectively. List edited to show remaining schedules of winless teams, Hawaii was the only team yesterday who wasn't killed.

UConn can beat Temple, SMU, and Memphis ... but I don't think they will. Pasqualoni killed our FB program.

And I wish we would get rid of those stupid helmets.

None of the five remaining teams won this past week, time running out for UConn, USM, GSU, UH, and Mother Miami.

RE: Which teams will go winless?
you have to think the Huskies will pull at least one out this year. peepee was awful, yadayadayada, but that team has some talent. They played meechigan close, no? Have to think either Temple or Memphis

God is punishing them for three bball titles in 15 years or whatever. Plus the fact that they seem to care about women's hoops.

USM will get crushed by La Tech and Middle Tennessee, but the UAB game should be a close loss. I think they beat Florida Atlantic.

Of those teams, I think Hawaii is MOST likely to pick up a win and Georgia State is LEAST likely to win any games.

Southern Miss doesn't have a prayer. Their best shot has come and gone already.

Updated the schedules, none of the five teams won last week (or tonight in Miami's case).

Um, hopefully USM's perseverance pays off big time next season and beyond...I hope.

Hawaii up 7-0 on SDSU in the 2nd. I didn't realize they went back to the 'Rainbow Warriors' look.
